The Challenge

I'm going to direct the script I submitted to the AFI DWW. I'll tap into my six degrees of separation to seek guidance and mentorship along the way. I'm going to adhere to the AFI DWW production guidelines, and stay within the DWW's maximum allowed budget. This'll be much more difficult for me because AFI DWW participants receive free equipment, access to editing facilities, and $5,000 to jump-start their production budgets.

I'll also have to shoot my film within a five-day period and spend no more than 30 days editing, from camera wrap to picture lock. The plan is to screen my film one the same day as the AFI DWW participants screen theirs.
